How to install

  1. Download the installer that suits you from the section above.
  2. Run it. Open the file from your Downloads folder. If Windows asks for permission, choose Yes.
  3. Follow the prompts until setup finishes. It may take a few minutes.
  4. Restart your computer if asked, then print a test page.

Silent install

For administrators. Run from an elevated command prompt:

msiexec /i DriverHP.msi /qn /norestart

Administrator rights are required on the target machine.

Verify your download

To check the file is complete and unchanged, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the value below. In PowerShell, run Get-FileHash .\DriverHP.exe.

Having trouble?

Windows says the file "isn't commonly downloaded" or blocks it

Choose Keep or More info → Run anyway. Before you run the file, you can compare its checksum with the one in the Verify section.

The installer says I need administrator rights

Installing drivers needs admin rights. On a college-managed computer, contact IT support to install it for you.

Setup finished, but the printer doesn't appear

Restart your computer and make sure you are on the campus network. Then go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners and select Add device.

Can I install this on a Mac?

No. These installers are for Windows only.
